Mo Nique – Co-Owner, DJ & Station Manager

Originally born in South Africa and now based in Cornwall, I am the co-owner of FMR Radio, where I manage the station alongside my cousin, Cristina Axford. As a passionate DJ specialising in techno and tech house, I bring my love for underground electronic music to our listeners, curating cutting-edge sets and ensuring FMR Radio remains at the forefront of the scene.

Beyond music, I am deeply committed to Beyond the Track, a company I founded to rehabilitate and rehome ex-racehorses, giving them a second chance at life after racing. Balancing the high-energy world of DJing with the rewarding work of equine rescue, I strive to make an impact in both industries, combining creativity, dedication, and a relentless drive for excellence.

At FMR Radio, my goal is to support emerging talent, push boundaries in the electronic music space, and create a platform where artists and listeners can connect. Whether behind the decks or in the stables, my passion for transformation—whether in sound or in life—is at the core of everything I do.
